Romantic wedding at the Gaylord Palm Resort, Kissimmee, Fl

The Gaylord Palm Resort and Hotel has quickly became a favorite of ours, in this blog we will tell you why!

The first thing you may notice about the Gaylord Palm Resort is just how massive it is! I mean, it’s so huge that it has it’s over navigation app, how many hotels can say that?!

Not only is it huge on the outside, it’s huge on the inside too…and here’s the best part….the inside is completely air conditioned! It’s the oddest sensation to walk around and feel like you’re outside but it feels like inside; so cool! ( no pun intended )

Meet Mariza and Michael.

They are a very sweet couple that we had the pleasure of working with and boy did they wedding knock our socks off! The Gaylord is the type of venue that doesn’t require much to make great photos but Mariza and Michael really hit a home run with their attire, decor, and details. Everything looked amazing!

We started out getting photos in their hotel rooms which circle the interior. If you love bridal shots on the balcony look no further than the Gaylord because with it’s glass top ceiling and A/C, it makes for the perfect balcony photos.

The ceremony took place in the main atrium and was a really nice blend of cozy and elevated. Their colors just screamed romantic and so did the couple!

The Gaylord Resort literally has a tons of mini locations for photos so we chose to use the main entrance with a really nice water feature in the background for their couples portraits, family photos, and wedding party photos. Even though we were in the same location, it was so big that we could use it as if it were three different location, truly amazing!

After that the couple has some cocktail hour time and then we met back up with them for grand entrances. Did I mention that the Gaylord has it’s own replica of Casa de San Marcos from St. Augustine inside? Well, they do! And that’s where the reception was held!

After a truly unforgettable reception it was time for the couple to have their last dance which took place on the lower level of the fort while all their guests watched from the second level. It was magical!

Last but no least, we finished off the night with a light wand grand exit down the path of the fort into the main lobby.

Maritza and Michael’s wedding was once of our favorites in 2023 and we can’t wait to go back to the Gaylord Resort and Hotel!
